“Meeting the Dalai Lama in Ann Arbor”

My response about the article “Meeting the Dalai Lama in Ann Arbor”. I think that anyone had the aptrunty to meet Dalai Lama is very lucky.

Dalai Lama is the person that most of the people like him, actually I only heard about him and I hope I will have the chance to see him.

He is very education man, and the good thing that I personally like that he now about most of the realigns in the world, and he respect them.

I heard also that in his last speech in Ann Arbor last weekend, that he didn’t say any word about politics, not even one word.

Pearson like Dalai Lama how is effecting a lot of people, and don’t talk about politics I think he is very smart. I think and this is just my opinion that he didn’t want to have the attention in the place that he was there.

Before I didn’t now Dalai Lama, but spicily when he is 45 minute far away from my city, a lot of people are talking about Dalai Lama. And I heard a lot of good things about him, no wondering he is affecting a lot of people.

I think I will read more about him in the future.

Show Me Your ID!!

In next June will be my 22 birthday. But the problem is I look 16,every body don’t believe that I’m 22,my roommates, my teachers, and my friends.

I had so many stories’, for example there is gas station near my house, and almost every day I go there to buy cigarettes, and every time the women who work there ask me for my ID.

Until one day I told her way you every day ask for my ID?? You see my ID more than I do. She said that you look very young and after 9 months I steel don’t believe that you are 22.

Also when I went to Florida for the last new year went with my friend to night club, when security gay saw me walking inside the club he came to me saying : you can’t be here please go out. He was so rood to me with the way he talks, and then I show him my ID.

And he was shocked because he was younger than me.

I think it’s a good thing, I well use it after 8 years when I’m 30 and I steel look young.

My first car

My father bought to me my first car when I was in high school, I was 18 years old, it was 2004 a new car.

It was my last year in high school, and the problem that he bought it before the final exams by two months.

I was so excited I even spend the day hang out with my friends, only when I want to sleep (sometimes) I came back home.

I didn’t study for the finals; I didn’t pass the last year of high school. I need to repeat the year again because I get F in three classes.

My father was angry he toke the car from me he throw me out of the house almost for one week.

Then I spend the summer with no car also the first semester  in the next year I didn’t have a car, until I got a good JPA in the first term, that mean I only enjoyed the car for two months and I lost for one year, until I get it again.

Since that time I learned a lesson (there is price for everything).

Saudi Women

I had a lot of conversations with many people about the women’s rights in my country. (Saudi Arabia)

Most of the people say that in my country the woman doesn’t have rights.

In my country the women have a lot of rights. I will talk about some of these rights.

Most of the people don’t know that if the women get pregnant she will have two- month-vacation from her work. Of course, with the salary, other countries don’t give these features. Additionally, if she wants to extend the length of vacation, the work must give her.

Also our culture gives the women a lot of rights, at ATM machines , malls….etc, the women have the right to be first also we do this because we respect the women.

If the women get sick or can’t do works that she needs to do at home, for example cooking or cleaning the house, if she can’t do this work.

She needs to have housemaid to help her 24/7.

Also, because the women can’t drive In my country, she has a driver to take her any where she wants in any time of the day.
